Nowhere in the Himalayans can beat the beauty of Annapurna Panorama Trekking, a short circuit walk in the comfort of the nice cozy lodge around traditional villages of Gurung and Magar / Poon the main tribes of the Southern Annapurna region.

Trekking to Annapurna Panorama offers wonderful mountain views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m)Annapurna I (8,091m) Annapurna South (7,219m)Gangapurna (7,455m), and Annapurna III (7,555m), includes Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish-tail” (6,997m) with many adjoining peaks.

Adventure Annapurna Panorama Trek is starting with a sweeping mountain flight to Pokhara a scenic valley with pristine Begnas and Phewa Lakes, where Annapurna Himalaya reflects on its calm waters.

Pokhara is the start and finishing point of many treks and mountaineering adventures, from here our route leads to high hills filled with a lovely forest of rhododendron and pine trees, wherein spring and summer turn the area into the natural magic garden when flowers are in full bloom. The walk leads through many farm villages of Tirkhedhunga-Hille-Ulleri to reach Ghorepani for the hike to the famous Poon Hill.

At Poon Hill the highest spot of this trek at 3,210 m with stunning sunrise views over an array of mountains, our nice walk leads into lovely rhododendron forest to conclude this fabulous trek at Nayapul after visiting a large Gurung village of Ghandruk.

This Annapurna Panorama Journey conclusion from Nayapul is a short drive to picturesque Pokhara for the flight back to Kathmandu with the great service and guidance of Nepal Spirit Adventure.

Best Season: Autumn (Sept to Nov) and Spring (March to May) are the best months for the Annapurna Panorama Trekking. The weather is sunny and warm with excellent views. If you wish to avoid the crowd and enjoy some alone time with nature then it can be operated all year around.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,315m/4,314ft) transfer to hotel

You are welcome to Nepal upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport received by Nepal Spirit Adventure’s airport representative then transfer to your hotel downtown in the hub of Kathmandu city, after checking in and refreshment as per your time of arrival, leisure moment to look up tourist redden Thamel overnight in hotel

Day 2:
Kathmandu tour

Today is a rest day in Kathmandu even if it is necessary after taking a long flight journey to Kathmandu, Nepal. As per the trip itinerary, you will join our regular city sightseeing tour of Kathmandu travel advice is available as per your need. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous “Monkey Temple” (Swoyambunath), and the Buddhist shrine (Buddha Nath Stupa) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. In the afternoon we will visit the office for a trip discussion, where you can meet and introduce our trek leader, other crew, and other participants of this trek. Nepal Spirit Adventure will brief you in detail about the trek and further provides the opportunity to ask any question we may have regarding our upcoming adventure overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3:
Fly to Pokhara drive to Nayapul trek to Trikhedhunga (1,440m/4,724ft) 4 hours

Annapurna Panorama Trekking starts taking a morning short scenic flight to reach Pokhara during 30 mins on air with awesome views of mountains on landing at Pokhara few hours drives to Nayapul unto Bherethati by the river Modi, from here walk begins through nice villages coming across trekkers, mule and donkey trains, our route leads to farm areas and villages, waterfalls then reaching at Tirkehdhunga for an overnight stop in the comfort of a nice cozy lodge after a good day walks of few hours.

Day 4:
Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft) 5-6 hours

The morning starts with a steep uphill climb on stone steps for an hour or more to reach on top of Ulleri village, moderate size villages with houses in traditional Nepalese style of slated roofs from here walk leads with a gradual slow climb into enchanting cool rhododendron and pine-forested area to reach Ghorepani village, located on a ridge surrounded with beautiful rhododendron trees. This village is inhabited mostly by Poon people of the Magar tribe and is famous for the Poon Hill view top which is an hour climb.

Day 5:
Sunrise Poon Hill (3,210m/10,531ft) trek to Tadapani (2,640m/8,661ft) 5 hours

Early morning climb to the top of Poon Hill to catch the stunning sunrise over an array of Himalayan peaks from world’s 7th highest Dhaulagiri-10th highest Annapurna with a range of peaks including world 8th highest Manaslu with majestic Machhapuchare peak“Fish Tail”. After enjoying exciting moments head back to Ghorepani and continue the trek uphill and downhill through a cool forest then reach Tadapani for an overnight stop.

Day 6:
Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,364ft) 4 hours

After a lovely morning with views of Annapurna South-Hiu Chuli and Machhapuchare peaks, an easy downhill walks to Ghandruk through an enchanting forest of rhododendron-oaks-magnolia and pine trees. On reaching one of the largest Gurung villages at Ghandruk transfer into a nice lodge with an afternoon free to wander around this lovely village and its museum of Gurung history and culture.

Day 7:
Ghandruk to Nayapul 5 hours trek & drive to Pokhara

With pleasant overnight and morning views today the last walk of this wonderful journey is a gradual downhill on stone steps that leads through farm terraces around Kimche village and then ending the descent at Syal Bazaar. From here follow the Modi River downstream to Bhirethati and to Nayapul for the drive back to Pokhara. On reaching Pokhara by the beautiful Phewa Lakeside transfer into a nice hotel. Pokhara is a popular holiday and famous tourist spot located on the laps of Annapurna Himalaya with pristine Phewa and Begnas Lakes.
NOTE: If you do not want trek alternative transportation is available from Dhandruk Phedi (extra cost for bus/jeep).

Day 8:
Flight to Kathmandu transfer to hotel

Morning or afternoon as per your flight time to Kathmandu transfer to Pokhara domestic airport for a short flight back to Kathmandu, after a marvelous time at Ghorepani & Poon Hill Sunrise trekking, with afternoon free at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs evening we invite you farewell dinner.

Day 9:
Final departure
