Itinerary

Day 1:

Drive to Chitwan - Drive to Chitwan (Approx: 185 km/5 hrs drive)

Today, the journey will be started towards Chitwan from Kathmandu. Reaching there, you will be welcomed, offering refreshment drinks. After your settlement in the respective rooms, you will have a small briefing program related to our jungle tour.

At 1:00 pm, Lunch
After some refreshment and relaxation, you will have your Lunch.

At 2:00 pm, Visit Tharu Village
Your journey to the ethnic communities of Tharu People starts now. First, you will be taken to the different settlements of Tharu, where you can observe their culture, tradition, and way of living closely.

At 5:00 pm, Visit Riverbank for Sunset View.
Sitting on the riverbank, you can see the magnificent sunset views. Yellow sun rays disappear in front of you, which is worth seeing.

At 7:00 pm, Cultural Programs.
Different types of cultural programs such as Dances and Slideshow presentations are shown by the locals who vividly reflect the tradition, culture, and celebration therearound.

At 8:00 pm, Dinner
Returning from the cultural show, you will have your Dinner in the same hotel and stay overnight there.

Day 2:

Jungle Activities

Most of the time will be spent in nature today. There are some scheduled programs for this day which are;

At 6:00 am, Wakeup call
You will receive a wake-up call from the hotel representatives.

At 7:00 am, Breakfast
You can get some tea/coffee for refreshment. Then you will have your breakfast.

At 7:00 am, Canoeing Ride and Visit the Elephant Breeding Center
You will have a guided Canoeing Ride and Elephant Breeding Center Visit- Here, you have a close-up view of different types of crocodiles, birds, and other creatures. Subsequently, you will visit the one and only Elephant Breeding Center in our country.

At 1:00 pm, Lunch
Being back from the jungle activities, your lunch awaits you. After lunch, you can take some rest.

At 2:00 pm, Elephant Back Safari.
You will head for Elephant Back Safari- Sitting on the back of an elephant, you will enter the jungle. Most of the animals and birds are seen at this time. You may encounter a herd of musk deer, One-horned rhinos, wild cats, and Langur Monkeys.

At 8:00 pm, Dinner.
As you have spent a whole day in nature, you may be tired. Your dinner gets ready at around 8: pm. You will spend overnight in the same hotel.

Day 3:

Drive back to Kathmandu (approx 5 hrs drive) or Go to Pokhara etc.

Best Time To Visit Chitwan National Park

Chitwan is a district in the Terai region of the country. It is too hot during the summer and pretty much cold in the winter. Many travelers might be confused about when to go on a tour to Chitwan so that their trip becomes memorable and fun for all the best reasons.
